Virtual Site Management
As a site administrator, you manage your site using any standard Web browser. Access the Site Management screen for your site by typing into your browser the URL:
http://[Domain]/siteadmin/
or if using IP address:
http://[IP address]:81/.cobalt/siteManage/[Domain]/index.html
For the ENSIM users:
https://[IP address]:19638/webhost/rollout/site
where [Domain] is the your site name (e.g. www.mysite.com) and [IP address] is the IP address of the your site.
A prompt appears, asking you to enter your site administrator username and password. The Site Management screen (for more information, read complete user guide) provides access to the site administrator functions.

User Account Management
As a site user, you manage your profile using any standard browser. Access your directory by typing into your browser the URL:
http://[Domain]/personal/
or if using IP address
http://[IP address]/personal/
where [Domain] is the your site name (e.g. www.mysite.com) and [IP address] is the IP address of the your site.
You must enter your user name and password. When you access your directory, the Personal Profile screen appears (for more information, read complete user guide).

Webalizer Statistics
To access your site statistics, type into your browser the URL:
http://[Domain]/stats
or if using IP address
http://[IP address]/stats
where [Domain] is the your site name (e.g. www.mysite.com) and [IP address] is the IP address of the your site.
Then enter your name and password when prompted.

E-Mail Settings
You must configure your e-mail application to send and retrieve e-mail from the Cobalt RaQ. Make sure the following information is entered into your e-mail program:
1. E-mail address. The format is either:
username@domainname, or
username@hostname.domainname,
(e.g., myname@mysite.com or myname@www.mysite.com)
Where: username is the user ID assigned to you (for example, "myname"), hostname is the name assigned to the Cobalt RaQ (for example, "www"), domainname is the your site name (e.g. www.mysite.com)
2. Your virtual domain simultaneously is POP3 and SMTP server (e.g. "www.mysite.com"). Also you may use your ISP SMTP Server.

FTP Settings
After creating your Web pages, you can publish them on the Web server using FTP. First, make sure you have the following information:
The Domain name or the IP address of your site.
Your username and password.
Then launch your FTP software, establish an FTP link, and then upload your HTML files. If you need help,consult the instructions for your FTP application.
By default, the files you upload via FTP are stored in your personal directory, the directory path for which is /home/sites/[Domain]/users/[Username]/web
where [Domain] is the your site name (for example, "www.mysite.com"), and [Username] is your user name (for example, "john").
To post Web pages for your site, you must upload to the directory /home/sites/[Domain]/web, which is two directory-levels higher than your personal directory and then down one to "web". (Only the site administrator can upload to this directory.)
For the ENSIM users:
ftp://username@sitename:password@sitename
username@sitename - Your login combination and Your domain name (without the www).
password@sitename - Your password and Your domain name (without the www).
Note. If Your domain name is to accessible use Your IP for password@sitename combination.
Path to Your html directory
/home/virtual/[Your domain without www]/var/www/html
Path to Your cgi directory
/home/virtual/[Your domain without www]/var/www/cgi
For COBALT users
ftp://username:password@[IP address]/../../web
Path to Your html and cgi directory
/home/sites/[Domain]/users/[Username]/web

CGI Scripts
You can save CGI files in any directory on your site, as long as CGI is enabled, the CGI file is executable, and the file ends with a .pl or .cgi extension. You should use ASCII mode to upload CGI files. Once the file is on the Web server, use your FTP program (or use the Telnet command: chmod 755 filename.cgi) to make the script executable.
COBALT:
The path to Perl is /usr/bin/perl.
The path to Sendmail is /usr/sbin/sendmail.
Absolute path to your site is /home/sites/[Domain]/
Absolute path to your user directory is /home/sites/[Domain]/users/[Username]/
ENSIM:
The path to Perl is /usr/bin/perl.
The path to Sendmail is /usr/sbin/sendmail.
Absolute path to your site is
/home/virtual/[Domain]//var/www/cgi-bin
/home/virtual/[Domain]//var/www/html
where [Domain] is the your site name (for example, "www.mysite.com"), and [Username] is your user name (for example, "john").

FRONT PAGE USAGE
Use FrontPage for publication of Your site.
1. Load FrontPage and open your site (locally)
2. In the menu FILE choose " To publish a site"
3. Enter IP the address of a site or a domain name/attention! Do not put at the end of the Address or the domain return slash.
4. Press the button "to publish"
5. To appear a window with the offer to enter a name and the password of the manager of a site - enter them.
6. Press button OK. Also wait for some time.
7. To appear a window about successful end of the task with the offer to load your site from the web.
8. Load your site and whether check up all correctly.
WARNING at access to a directory of your site through the FTP do not delete files and catalogues of a kind _vti *** - they are necessary for normal work of the FrontPage.
